Dittos!

For those of you who didn't catch it in my last post, I didn't mean "ditto" as it is used today. I meant it as the process of copying things before the advent of the Xerox machine. XD

It's fallen so far to the wayside that it's not even in the Wikipedia. I know people around my age and older remember them. I really don't think most younger people know that they ever existed. It's just a catch phrase, now. It just means, "Oh, the same as what that person said!" It doesn't mean blue copies handed out in first grade, and that slightly tacky feeling of the ink at first (for the first few copies at least), and I know there was a distinctive scent to them that I have forgotten but I know that I used to love for some reason.

So, congratulations. If you remember dittos, you're probably old...but you're in good company! ~laughs~


p.s. - WTF? How are all of my entries defaulting to friends only? ~sigh~ Gotta poke around and see what's doing that...
