I actually couldn't figure out how to write the rest of the fic prompts. No matter how fun they sounded in theory, my muse refused to hand me any words. ~sigh~ I'm sorry if your fic didn't get written! I tried.
On that note, my druid hit 77 and can fly again. I'll get serious about writing again once she hits 80. Or, I might write fanfic or Elemental and stop leveling. I don't know yet. I've pretty much taken today off for reading and playing around. Today is a sanity day.

Anyway, there will be writing posted within the next few weeks. ^_^ Chapter 26 of Generations is half way done. Elemental is still simmering on the back burner, but I'm gathering a few ideas for what comes next.
The holidays were good to me. My dad gave me a working laptop that I'll be able to write on. My grandma gave me a few old things that have a LOT of sentimental value to me. (Anastasia toys still in their packaging that I gave to them ages ago...it was the last movie I got to go to and really enjoy with them before my grandpa died.) C gave me a Darth Vader bobblehead and a nummy blood elf paladin. He watches me write. hehehe VERY inspirational, now! My mom gave me a blanket. My brother and his wife got me a nice shirt and a comfy shawl. My wolf cub got me a new video card, so I can see the pretty shadows in WotLK at last! (Now you guys know why I've been playing instead of writing!) We went all out and got Anakin a computer...though we're reusing a couple of things like an old monitor and case. S got me tea and a beautiful cup. Spirisis got me stuff I won't get for a while, but I'm used to that. ~snicker~ Hey, Six, what did she get for me??? LMAO! (Sorry to pick on you, sis! I just needed the laugh. ^_^)
And...that's the holiday. I lost the mp3 player I'd gotten for my birthday when we went grocery shopping on Christmas Eve. =/ I cried, because it's something I've wanted for YEARS and it was just gone, poof, like that. Fell out of my pocket, and as crowded as it was I'm sure someone saw it happen and picked it up all quiet-like, thinking it was their lucky day. So...less than a month, and gone. I'm still upset about it.
The good outweighs the bad, at least. And, as soon as we've got a little bit more cash after this holiday stuff, we're going to get me some new glasses. I've had this pair since Anakin was born. It's about time! It feels good to have a little bit of money again, even if we had to move in with my brother so that we could do things like that. I've got a lot to be thankful for. There are a few little things that rub and chafe, but it's WAY better than the alternative.
